Cape May Birdwatching Trip

We had a wonderful birding trip to Cape May, NJ over the holiday weekend. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect! We were up at the crack of dawn on Saturday and Sunday to participate in birding field trips. On Saturday we also took a birdwatching boat trip to look for shore and wetland birds. I took a LOT of photos and have posted some of the best ones here.

Nice photos! I love the sunset over the wetlands - I think it’s the 4th from the end. “Waterfowl at Sunset” is also quite beautiful.

Thanks, Ellen. The wetlands made a gorgeous setting during sunset.

Hi Clint, We have just got round to checking your site and your photographs are just brilliant !, We hope you found many more whilst in Texas, especially around the Estero Llano Park, in Brownsville, and Laguna acosta Wildlife area near South Padre Island. After leaving Brownsville we carried on up to Galveston and then to Houston before flying home to England. We are just getting accustomed to the weather back here at the moment, (Wet and Windy) quite normal for this time of year.
We shall keep an eye on your blog for your “Texas Trip”

All the best to you both, from the “university birders” Brian and Gloria.

    Brian and Gloria,

Thanks for visiting and commenting. It was so nice to meet you in Brownsville and get so many good tips. We did visit all the places you mentioned and saw many species we have never seen. I just finished putting up a photos from that trip.

Very nice to hear from you.

    Clint and Naomi.
