Vischer’s Ferry

I spent 2 hours at Vischer’s Ferry Nature Preserve this morning taking photos of some of the birds. As soon as I got out of my car there were two Sandhill Cranes flying directly overhead. I barely had time to snap a couple of shots of them. Swallows are very fast flyers and move somewhat erratically, which made it quite difficult to get any in focus flight photos. A few were decently sharp - I am actually surprised that ANY of them turned out. Here are some of the photos from this morning…
