I can’t imagine any better pictures of the Eastern Bluebird than these. It’s a beautiful bird with an interesting color combination. How did you get the pure-black background? It provides a nice contrast.

Hi Paul,
Mr. Bluebird was in a spotlight of morning sun with deep shade behind him - that’s what makes him stand out like that. It is the closest shot I have gotten of a bluebird.
