Signs of Spring

It is finally starting to feel a little like Spring. Today was around 65 degrees and sunny.The crocuses are the first flowers to bloom around here:
And with the first flowers come the first bees….
I also came upon some miniature irises - only a couple of inches across….
The first house finches have also returned….
And today there was a Red Squirrel/Gray Squirrel mix in our yard. It was quite amazing to look at. It was as large as a gray squirrel (red squirrels are much smaller) but with a very red tail and lots of red mixed with gray on its body. I have never seen anything like it.
Spring is good!!!
